School Based
School-Based Mental Health is a site based program in which licensed clinicians provide therapy directly in your child's neighborhood school. Having a therapist in the school, provides a safe place for your child to work through problems, cope with stress in a healthy way, develop social skills, and helps your child be successful in the school, home, and community. Our school-based therapists can provide individual, family, and group therapy, coordinate with school staff, and provide access to Hopeful Beginning's wrap around and supportive services, which may include: medication evaluation, crisis supports, respite, and in-home skills. Hopeful Beginnings is providing services in 25 schools across Salt Lake County. Please check with your school to see if you have a Hopeful Beginnings therapist onsite.
