Group therapy is a powerful and important tool in helping people to find hope. Within an open, honest, and tolerant group atmosphere, individuals can find assurance that they are not alone. Groups are typically co-facilitated by two or more staff members who seek to gently guide the discussion toward the best place for fostering healing and hope. The group dynamic allows for introspection concerning the topic, and the opportunity to find resonance beyond each individuals circumstance. The need for hope and meaning are universal, regardless of an individuals specific situation.
Hopeful Beginnings has several groups at varied times to meet the needs of its clients. Groups focusing on Emotional Intelligence, Life Skills, Parenting Skills, and Substance Abuse Support will be starting soon.
